| Items/Services: Porting Comments: The owner of Duners is a joke, I had a cylinder bored their and when I got it back it had deep tooling or groves in the cylinder wall. When I took it back he told me that “those groves need to be there because the piston rings need to get oil up to them”. What a joke anyone with any kind of technical knowledge knows that the cylinder needs to be smooth with a nice cross hatch so that the rings will seat. When he finally did hone the cylinder smooth it was too big. The ring gap max for that size bore is .016 of an inch he bored it too big and when properly honed in came out to .018 inch ring gap, basically the cylinder is a nice paper weight. Needless to say I will not having any kind of work done at this shop, this is a guy that thinks since he has been in working on bikes for a long time he knows what he is doing he does not. | Items/Services: Starter, then a starter clutch, and coolant Comments: K we had it in there the first time, they got it fixed pretty fast. Not too cheap though. But they told us that the starter clutch looked pretty bad, then we took it out to the dunes and sure enough?! The starter clutch goes out.
